Terms of Trade

Bookings:

Tickets are to be paid for at time of booking, you can pay into bank account (available on request) with reference given, Catch a Bus South is available on Bill Pay, and we also accept Debit/Credit Visa and MasterCard payments. A transaction fee of $3.50 applies to card transactions. (If you buy 2 or more tickets in the same transaction you will only be charged 1 transaction fee).

Unaccompanied children:

Unaccompanied children must be 5 years of age or older. If the company has agreed to carry the child, then the policy is "ALL CARE & NO RESPONSIBILITY" for all children travelling under the age of 14. An adult must be present to put the child on the bus and an adult must be waiting at collection point at least 10 minutes prior to arrival. Contact phone numbers must be given for both origin and destination at time of booking.


Flexible Fares:

Standard Fares are flexible and may be altered (an alteration fee may apply).
Specials are not flexible and non refundable.

Return Fares:

Return Fares are reduced for all except infant fares as these are already heavily reduced.
Please check cancellations below.

Alterations:

Alterations made after midnight the day prior to travel will incur a $5.00 charge.
Alterations made within 1 hour of travel may not be accepted.

If destination changes after ticket issued, there is no reduction in fare.
If new destination is further, the difference in fare will be payable.
An alteration fee of $5.00 may apply (see above).

Cancellations:

Up until midnight 2 days prior to travel, full refund (excluding transaction fee).
(E.g. 11:00 p.m. on the 6th when travelling on the 8th will get full refund)

Between 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. the day prior to travel, 50% refund (excluding transaction fee).
(E.g. 1:00 a.m. on the 7th when travelling on the 8th will get 50% refund)

Late Cancellation (after 5:00 p.m. day prior to travel) no refund.

Return part of return fare is not refundable once first trip has commenced although alteration
to date and time
will be accepted (an alteration fee may apply).
(A return fare may be altered for either or both parts)

If driver calls to collect passengers and they are not there this is classed as a No Show.
No refund is due.
